A Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant occupies a safe, home-like setting just one block from Central Michigan Community Hospital. Our multiple outdoor courtyards and extensive rose garden provide a perfect setting for quiet time or socializing.
Our facility offers short-term rehabilitation and nursing services, as well as extended-stay care for individuals who have physical or cognitive limitations. The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant partners with an onsite dialysis service offering special convenience for guests and patients undergoing dialysis.
The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant’s short-term rehabilitation unit provides seven-day-a week services that are customized to guests’ individual needs and performed by licensed therapists. Our rehab guests may choose between private rooms, suites or semi-private rooms, based on availability. A private dining area for rehab guests offers a fine-dining menu and services.
Our long-term guests enjoy ongoing, physician-directed medical care while our staff cultivates the social and emotional tools that help them maintain satisfying, independent lives. Directed by our creed The Laurel Way of Caring, our staff encounters each guest, each day, with the compassion, respect and dignity they deserve.
In addition, Maplewood of Mt. Pleasant a sister facility, provides assisted living care for guests who are not quite ready for the transition to home.
We provide a complete range of services for patients that are unable to return home after a hospitalization. Our programs provide a safe transition from hospital to home with a depth of services that typically can not be provided through home health care or by family members.Learn More
